Shoes

Postby menticknap » Tue Sep 07, 2010 7:59 am

Last year, I wore my cyclo X shoes without the stud. With no give in the sole, my calves were shagged.
Any advice which shoes to get?

Im going for Walshies and toe clips as im used them and can move better over greasy rock, Also I also use those DHB mtb shoes from wiggle as they have some flex in the toe ,And the price is rite, but the sole is not rubber and slips on wet rock

Get used to it!
- never tried anything but mtb race shoes - and I've eventually come to the conclusion that studs are not worth putting on after tripping over every rock on the climbs!
Only one year missed since 1996 - I'm afraid that If I don't come back every year that I'll never race the Peaks again!

Similarly, I'll be wearing Flyrocs with toe clips.
