Ultegra Wheels

I've been keen to try tubeless for road/cross for sometime, and 3 peaks seems like a good reason to do so now. I was wondering if anyone had used the Ultegra 6700 tubeless compatible wheels- and if so, are they robust enough?
I have a set of Shimano wheels and they have been quite strong for road use-having hit some large holes, etc, but the 3PXC seems like a totally different league from what I can gather (this will be by first time riding it). I'm 74kg and tend to be easy on my wheels.

I'd be wary of tubeless, for the reason that there is an increased chance of slicing a tyre enough that it'd wreck your tubeless system so you'd nee to stick a tube in anyway.

I'm not sure why you'd have any more chance of slicing though a tubeless tyre than a normal tubed one. Certainly hasn't been my experience in years of mountain biking. In fact since you can run lower pressures, allowing the tyre to deform over rocks etc, there should be less chance of cutting a tyre. Either way, the end result for both tubes and tubeless with a severe cut is the same- you just boot is and put a tube in, as you say.
