If you have not received the invitation email by now I'm afraid you're not in this year's event. I tried to send emails out to those who were unsuccessful but the SI system couldn't cope with it. If you want to get a guaranteed entry for next year why not make an offer to John to marshall at this year's event or at the Bradford CX event in December?

Best wishes,

Hi Keith,

Haven't had an email so I'm assuming I'm not in the race this year :( I know there isn't a reserve list but what are you going to do if people don't accept the inviations; any chance of some late entries after the 29th? I'm carrying on with the training anyway as we have several other club riders who are in and I'll still be riding with them.

Jackson.

Hi Keith - pleased to say my sanity is intact after getting the invite. I know from the SI website that there were782 entries - how many are / will be on the start list?
Cheers,
Ian.

We are anticipating over 600 on the final list but that is dependent on how many people take up their invitations (plenty will get second thoughts when they face up to parting with the cash). Not everyone on the list was sent an invitation. There will be some additional entries added after the SI invitation process finishes. The final list will not be published until mid September. The dropout rate from the published start list to the actual number if starters on the day is usually around 15% so we will anticipate an actual lineup on the day of around 600.
