Sorry if someone has posted up thanks before. I couldn't see anything on the forum.

Gotta say a huge, huge thanks to John and everyone involved in this fantastic event.
Thanks to the brilliant marshalls who clapped and gave words of encouragement, to the people at the end who cut my timing dibber from my broken body, to the guys on Penyghent who slowed down to see if I was ok after my crash (judging by other posts on here, I got away very lightly), to the guys coming down Penyghent, also shouting words of encouragement and not crashing into me...

This is such a wonderful event and I can't wait for next year(!)

Yeah this was my first event, and even though i was in the bottom 10% at pen-y-ghent and struggling, everyone was still encouraging and cheering me on! an amazing experience, and I was proud to just finish.

Will definately be back next year!

Another cracking doo.
11 minutes faster than my first time last year, enjoyed (??) it better than last year.
Special thanks to the organisers, especially making the finishing proceedure absolutely seamless.
See all you mad fools next year then!

Exactly the same position as last year (which I thought may have been a fluke) so happy with that.

I add my thanks. I know it's very belated, but I've only just been able to bear to look at the forum that I'm usually addicted to after the race, having failed to finish for the first time ever. I'm over it now, but I after seeing the first few finish (which of course I'd never seen before) I wasn't even able to stay at the finish!

But many thanks to all, particularly those who had kind and sympathetic words for me when they saw I'd abandoned - especially John who has so much else to do on the day but took time to have a sympathetic word.
