Which tyres

Does anyone have any thoughts on which tyres worked best this year, and with which size rim thanks,

Land cruisers at 65, on standard on one 29er disc wheels.

No punctures again.

I can't see any need to go anything more exotic, at least for a mid-field person like me.

Land Cruisers on Velocity A23 - no punctures for the fourth year and no issues with grip (which I was expecting given the conditions) heavy but reliable.

Land cruisers. Blow them up like a brick and hope! (I weigh 17 stone so anything less than a million psi is likely to result in impact punctures especially on the descents of Whernside and PYG. Not that I made it that far this year!)

Will race for my first time this year and just curious how many will use tubulars? Do both regular cx and also ride my cross-bike on trails with a fair amount of rocks and roots - really happy how my Tufo Flexus Primus on 32-spoke Ambrosio rims behaves. In my eyes they are really bullet-proof.

On my cx for commuting I am running 28mm Schwalbe Marathon Extreme and I would imagine Landcruisers are similar but with better grip - i.e. feels like filled with concrete and extremely sluggish.

PS I weigh 74 kg and bike around 8kg

I`ve ridden last 4 times on a total of 3 Continental Speed Kings and they are still in service. The rims are Ksyriums and my weight is around 11 8 in old money. In the past I have used Schwalbe Light CX Pros on Shimano W550s or similar and in 24 3 peaks I`ve had only one puncture. I think this is helped by using 85-90psi, running the slabs on Whernside and some LUCK.
